Description

The Nur is a white wall light with a flowing aluminium body and frosted polycarbonate diffusers housing a 10W integrated LED that produces 850 lumens at 3000K. The curved aluminium form wraps around a central mounting disc, with LED strips set behind the frosted panels to cast light both upwards and downwards along the wall surface.

Designed as ambient lighting for bedrooms, hallways and living areas, the Nur includes a touch-sensitive dimmer built into the fitting itself, allowing brightness adjustment without needing a wall dimmer switch. The 320mm height and 170mm projection suit walls with clearance for furniture or circulation, while the compact 145mm width fits narrower wall sections between doorways or alcoves. The diffused output avoids harsh shadows and provides soft wash lighting across textured or painted wall surfaces.

The matte white finish on the aluminium body pairs with contemporary, Scandinavian and minimalist interiors where the fitting becomes a functional accent rather than a focal point. How does the touch dimmer work?

The dimmer is built into the fitting itself. Touch the white mounting disc to cycle through brightness levels from full output (850lm) down to low ambient. The setting is retained when the light is switched off and on again at the wall switch.

Can it be used with a standard dimmer switch?

No. The Nur has a built-in touch dimmer and should be wired to a standard on/off switch only. Using it with a trailing-edge or leading-edge wall dimmer will cause conflicts with the internal control circuitry and may damage the fitting.

What type of light does it cast?

The Nur casts diffused ambient light upwards and downwards along the wall surface. It is designed as wash lighting rather than task lighting, so it provides background illumination rather than focused brightness for reading or detailed work.
