Description

The Nur is a wall light built around two curved aluminium arms finished in soft silver, each holding a frosted polycarbonate tube with an integrated 10W LED inside. The arms rise from a circular polished chrome backplate and extend 170mm from the wall, creating a sculptural S-curve that casts 850 lumens at 3000K warm white across a 120° beam angle. A touch dimmer built into the fitting allows brightness to be adjusted without wiring to an external dimmer switch.

Designed for hallways, living rooms and bedrooms where wall-mounted accent or task lighting is needed, the Nur works well flanking a sofa, above a bedside table, or in pairs either side of a mirror or console. The 320mm height and 145mm width suit walls where a compact fixture is preferred over larger multi-arm sconces. The 170mm projection directs light away from the wall rather than washing it, making the Nur more suited to areas where directed light onto furniture or reading positions is the priority.

The silver aluminium has a satin finish that resists fingerprints and reduces glare under daylight, while the polished chrome backplate provides a contrasting accent. The frosted polycarbonate diffusers soften the LED source and distribute light evenly along the length of each arm. The touch dimmer responds to a light press on the chrome backplate, cycling through four brightness levels before returning to full output. The fitting weighs 0.5kg and mounts to a standard UK wall box or surface-mount back plate.

How does the touch dimmer work?

The touch dimmer is activated by lightly pressing the polished chrome backplate. Each press cycles through four brightness levels before returning to full output. No external dimmer switch is required.

Can it be used in a bathroom?

The Nur carries no IP rating and is designed for dry interior locations only. It is not suitable for bathrooms, wet rooms or outdoor use.

What beam angle does it produce?

The integrated LED casts light across a 120° beam angle. The frosted diffusers spread the light evenly along the length of each arm, directing it away from the wall rather than washing the wall surface.

Is the LED replaceable?

No. The LED is integrated into the fitting and not user-replaceable. The LED is rated for approximately 25,000 hours of use, which equates to around 11 years at 6 hours per day.
