Description

The Falmouth is a 3 light semi-flush ceiling light built around a polished chrome frame shaped into three curved arms that extend from a central column, each arm housing a G9 LED bulb beneath a 400mm diameter black fabric shade. The shade sits close to the ceiling with a 425mm drop from the mounting plate to the base of the diffuser, making this a fitting choice for rooms with ceiling heights of 2.3m or above where a full pendant would hang too low.

The fitting carries an IP44 rating, meaning it's protected against water splashes from any direction and is safe to install in bathroom zones 2 and 3 (at least 600mm from a shower head or bath edge). The combination of polished chrome metalwork and a black fabric drum shade suits both contemporary bathrooms and bedrooms where ambient ceiling light is needed without the bulk of a flush mount. The acrylic diffuser beneath the shade spreads the light evenly and prevents direct glare from the three G9 bulbs.

The Falmouth ships with three 3W LED G9 bulbs at 3000K included, delivering warm white light without the need to source separate bulbs on installation. The polished chrome finish reflects surrounding light and maintains its appearance in humid bathroom environments when wiped down occasionally with a soft dry cloth. The black shade is taut drum fabric with a white interior lining that maximises light output downwards and outwards into the room.

What ceiling height is needed?
