Description

The Brooks is a 195cm tall metal shelving unit built from a brushed champagne iron frame with five open shelves arranged in an asymmetric geometric pattern. The frame uses 25mm square-section iron tubing welded at right angles, with shelves of varying widths distributed across the vertical height to break up the grid into offset compartments.

Designed for living rooms, home offices and hallways where vertical storage is needed without blocking light or sightlines, the unit provides display and storage space for books, plants, ornaments and boxed items across its 91.5cm width and 30.5cm depth. The open-frame construction keeps the visual weight low despite the 195cm height, making it suitable for rooms with lower ceilings where a solid bookcase might feel overbearing. The narrow depth allows the unit to sit flat against a wall or be used as a room divider where access from both sides is needed.

The brushed champagne finish is a warm metallic tone between pale brass and rose gold, applied by hand-brushing the iron to create a directional grain that softens reflections under daylight and artificial light. The iron shows subtle tonal variation across the frame due to the manual finishing process, giving each unit slight differences in surface tone.
