Box 20W LED Wall Light - White

The Box is a 420mm horizontal LED wall light with a white painted metal frame and an integrated 20W LED producing 800 lumens at 3000K warm white. The light source sits behind a white acrylic diffuser that wraps around the front and sides of the rectangular form, casting soft ambient light across the wall surface and outward into the room. The 50mm projection from the wall keeps the fitting compact enough for narrower hallways and bathroom zones.

Designed for areas where even, glare-free illumination is needed without a pendant or ceiling fitting intruding into headroom, the Box suits bathrooms, hallways, corridor runs, and stairwell landings. The 120° beam angle spreads light across adjacent wall surfaces rather than concentrating it in a tight spot, making the fitting work as general room lighting rather than accent or task lighting. The fitting mounts directly to a standard UK backplate wired into the wall, with the mains connection concealed inside the metal housing.

The white finish on the metal frame and the white acrylic diffuser give the fitting a monochromatic appearance that recedes into light-coloured walls while still providing architectural definition. At 0.75kg the Box is light enough to mount on plasterboard with appropriate fixings. The integrated LED is non-dimmable and rated for 3 years under Mantra's warranty. The 800lm output is roughly equivalent to a 60W incandescent bulb, providing functional illumination for spaces up to approximately 8-10m².

Is the Box suitable for bathrooms?

Can the LED be replaced?

No. The LED is integrated into the fitting and cannot be replaced. The unit is rated for a typical LED lifespan of 15,000-25,000 hours (approximately 10-15 years at 4 hours daily use), after which the entire fitting would need replacing.

Is it dimmable?

No. The integrated LED is not compatible with dimmer switches. Connecting the Box to a dimmer may cause flickering or damage the internal driver.

What size room does 800lm suit?

800 lumens at 3000K provides functional ambient lighting for rooms up to approximately 8-10m², such as a small bathroom, a hallway section, or a compact bedroom used primarily in the evening. Larger rooms may benefit from multiple fittings or supplementary lighting.
