Description

The QTX MM41 is a compact mono microphone mixer with four low impedance jack inputs, all mixing down to a single master jack output. It gives you a simple way to combine several microphones without a large desk taking up space, so it suits small venues, meeting rooms, houses of worship and portable setups where you just need a few mics running through one output.

Each of the four channels has its own volume control, with a separate control for the master output. That means you can balance the level of each microphone and then set the overall level from one place. The inputs run at 3.3k Ohms impedance and the master output is 600 Ohms on a single 6.3mm (quarter-inch) jack, so it connects easily to an amplifier or powered speaker. If you need more inputs, the range also includes an eight channel version.

Power comes from a single 9V PP3 battery, which is not supplied, or you can use an optional 12Vdc 200mA power adaptor for fixed installations. The battery option keeps things portable and useful where mains power is awkward to reach. The unit measures 150 x 108 x 64mm, so it fits neatly on a desk, a shelf or into a bag.
