This QTX desk stand pairs a compact footprint with a full boom arm, giving you flexible microphone (US: mic) placement without taking up floor space. It suits desktop recording, podcasting, streaming and broadcast setups where you want the mic close in but adjustable. The bright chrome finish carries black attachments, and the whole thing sits on rubber feet to help keep it steady on your desk.

At the heart of the stand is a heavy 130mm diameter cast iron base, which gives it the weight it needs to hold position while the boom is extended. The two piece telescopic stem adjusts the height from 40cm to 60cm, and the fully adjustable boom arm measures 340 x 14mm diameter for reach and angle. Total weight is 2.5kg, so it stays put but is still easy to move between spots when you need to.

A 3/8" to 5/8" thread adaptor is supplied, so you can fit a wide range of microphones and clips whichever thread standard they use. That makes it a straightforward choice if you already own mics with different mounting sizes. Set the height, position the boom where you want it, and you have a tidy desktop rig ready for use.
