Description

The Luminique is a 2.5m vertical cascade chandelier built from rectangular crystal sections aligned into a rigid square column, suspended from a 30cm chrome flush ceiling plate. Four GU10 LED fittings sit inside the top section, casting light down through the full 250cm length of crystal. The crystal segments are linked by chrome connectors, forming a geometric tower that reflects and refracts light cleanly along its vertical axis.

Designed for double-height spaces with ceiling heights of 3.5m or above, the Luminique works in stairwells, entrance voids, and open gallery landings where vertical visual impact is needed without spreading horizontally into the usable floor area. The 30cm square footprint means the chandelier drops into a narrow vertical corridor without blocking sightlines across a hallway or landing. The flush mount sits flat to the ceiling, avoiding any downward projection of the canopy itself.

Each crystal section is bevelled and polished on all four sides, creating sharp light refraction from every angle. The chrome framework holds the column rigid — there is no swaying or movement once installed. At 35kg total weight, the chandelier requires secure fixing into a reinforced joist or structural ceiling point. The chrome finish on the connectors and top plate provides clean reflection that pairs with modern metal details, polished concrete, or marble flooring typical of contemporary entrance halls.

The four GU10 LED fittings accept bulbs up to 6W each (sold separately), giving a combined maximum output of 24W. What ceiling height is required?

The 2.5m drop needs a ceiling height of at least 3.5m to avoid the bottom of the chandelier sitting too low in the space. The fitting works best in double-height voids, stairwells and entrance halls with ceiling heights of 4m or above.

Does it come with bulbs?

No. The chandelier takes four GU10 LED bulbs up to 6W each, sold separately. Most users choose warm-white LEDs between 2700K and 3000K to complement the crystal.

How is it installed at 35kg?

The 35kg weight requires the flush mount to be fixed into a reinforced ceiling joist or structural fixing point. Standard plasterboard fixings will not support this load. Professional installation is recommended.

Can the drop height be adjusted?

No. The 250cm drop is fixed by the crystal column assembly and cannot be shortened or extended on site.
