These GP zinc air batteries are made for hearing aids and other small, finely assembled electronic devices. Each cell is a PR70 (also known as ZA10) size, colour-coded yellow to help you match it to your device. You get six batteries in the pack, supplied in a plastic dispenser that keeps them tidy and easy to handle.

Zinc air chemistry suits hearing aids well because it holds a stable voltage right through the life of the cell, so sound stays consistent rather than fading off. These run at 1.4V with a capacity of 75mAh, and they work across a wide range of temperatures. Each battery measures 5.8mm across and 3.6mm tall, matching the standard PR70 footprint used by most compatible aids.

GP makes this line in the most common hearing aid sizes, so if PR70 isn't the one you need you'll also find ZA13 (PR48), ZA312 (PR41) and ZA675 (PR44). Zinc air cells activate when you peel the tab and expose them to air, so leave the tab in place until you're ready to fit a fresh battery. The six-pack and dispenser make it simple to keep a spare set close to hand for when your current cell runs down.
