Description

This Citronic XF-XM600BK is a 6 metre microphone lead with a female XLR at one end and a male XLR at the other. It carries balanced signals, which helps keep noise and interference low over longer runs, so it works well for stage, studio and general audio use. The cable is fully shielded and built to hold up to regular handling.

The lead uses pure copper conductors with cotton reinforcement inside a soft-grip, rubberised jacket that resists tangling. Each connection is machine-soldered for consistency, and the die-cast XLR connectors have a locking mechanism so the cable stays put once it is plugged in. The 6mm cable diameter gives it enough weight to sit still on the floor without being stiff to coil.

Wiring follows the standard balanced pin-out: pin 1 to ground, pin 2 hot and pin 3 cold, so it pairs correctly with dynamic and condenser microphones as well as balanced line-level gear.
