Description

This retro braided XLRF-XLRM microphone lead (US: mic cable) gives you a reliable connection for any performance, from home recording through to live music on stage. The braided outer has a retro look and keeps the lead flexible and anti-tangle, so it coils away neatly and stores easily once you have finished for the day.

Inside, the lead uses pure copper wire conductors to help reduce interference and keep your signal clean. It is fitted with quality 3 pin XLR connectors, male at one end and female at the other, wired to the standard pin-out: pin 1 ground, pin 2 hot and pin 3 cold. The cable measures 6.6mm in diameter, with 2 x 18 x 0.12mm conductors for a good balance of flexibility and durability.

We stock this lead in four lengths, so you can pick the right size for your setup. Choose 0.5m for short patching, 1.5m or 3m for closer positions, or 6m when you need to reach further across a stage or studio. The braided finish also adds a layer of protection that should stand up well to repeated use and packing down.
