Description

This is our retro-style guitar lead, wrapped in an anti-tangle nylon braid that gives the cable within some added protection. It carries unbalanced signals for a guitar, instrument or audio source, with a 6.3mm (1/4 inch) mono jack plug at each end. The 3m length gives you room to move around without leaving too much slack underfoot.

Inside the braid, the cable uses pure copper conductors with cotton reinforcement for a bit of extra strength. A soft-grip rubberised jacket keeps things comfortable in the hand and helps the lead sit flat rather than coiling up on itself. The connections are machine-soldered and the connectors are professional die-cast 6.3mm straight mono jack plugs, so they should hold up to regular plugging in and out.

The braided outer comes in retro-style colour options, so you can pick one that suits your gear or just tell your leads apart on stage. The cable measures 6.6mm across and the conductors are made from 13 strands of 0.12mm pure copper. It works equally well between a guitar and an amp, or as a general line-level lead for other audio kit that takes a mono jack. In the US you may see the 6.3mm plug called a 1/4 inch jack, and it is the same fitting either way.
