Description

This Citronic guitar lead uses a retro nylon-braid cover over the cable, giving it a classic look while adding protection to the wiring inside. The braiding is designed to resist tangles, so the lead stays flexible and easy to coil between uses. It works well for guitars, other instruments, and general audio connections carrying unbalanced (mono) signals.

The lead is fitted with a 6.3mm right angled mono jack plug at one end and a 6.3mm straight mono jack plug at the other. Both plugs are die-cast for a solid feel, and the connections are machine-soldered for consistency. Inside, the cable uses pure copper conductors with cotton reinforcement, wrapped in a soft-grip rubberised jacket that adds to the anti-tangle handling. In the US a lead like this is often called a cable, so the two terms refer to the same thing.

This version measures 3m and comes in a black and red braid, though the range is available in various colours if you want to match your setup or keep track of multiple leads. The right angled plug is handy where space behind an amp or pedalboard is tight, keeping the cable running flat against the socket. The 6.6mm cable diameter and 13 strand, 0.12mm pure copper conductors give a good balance of flexibility and signal handling for everyday use on stage or at home.
