Description

The Citronic HDT565 is a heavy duty moulded equipment case built for storing and moving sensitive gear. The shell is made from high density, impact-resistant ABS, and the interior is filled with pluck foam so you can pull out sections to form cut-outs shaped around your own equipment. This keeps items held firmly in place and cushioned against knocks in transit.

A full gasket seal runs around the lid, giving the case an IP66 rating against dust and water. It closes with two lever clamps that pull the seal tight, and a pressure equalization valve lets you release any pressure difference after changes in altitude or temperature, so the lid opens easily. The external dimensions are 565 x 352 x 228mm, with internal space of 110 x 280 x 420mm, and the whole case weighs 6.174kg empty.

For portability, the HDT565 has integral wheels and a retractable trolley handle, so you can wheel it along like a suitcase rather than carrying the full weight. When you need to lift it, there is a folding soft-grip handle on the side.
