Description
The Citronic HDC205 is a heavy duty moulded equipment case built to protect your gear in transit and storage. It's made from high density ABS material, giving it an impact-resistant shell that stands up to knocks and rough handling. Inside, the case is filled with pluck foam, so you can pull out sections to form cut-outs shaped around whatever you need to carry.
With an IP66 rating, the case is fully sealed against dust and powerful water jets. An integral gasket runs around the lid, and two lever clamps hold everything shut tight. A pressure equalisation valve lets you release trapped air after changes in altitude or temperature, which makes the lid easier to open and helps keep the seal working as it should.
Carrying is handled by a folding, soft-grip handle that sits flat when you're not using it. The segmented foam interior means fragile items stay held in place rather than shifting around during transport. If you care about your equipment, it makes sense to care about what it travels in, and the HDC205 gives cameras, tools, audio gear and other kit a solid, weatherproof home.

Frequently Asked
What does the IP66 rating mean?
IP66 means the case is fully protected against dust ingress and can withstand powerful water jets from any direction. It is not rated for full submersion, but it will keep contents dry in heavy rain and wet conditions.
How is the foam interior set up?
The case is filled with pluck foam, which is pre-cut into small cubes. You pull out the sections you don't need to create a cut-out shaped around your equipment, holding it snugly in place.
What is the pressure equalisation valve for?
The valve balances the air pressure inside and outside the case after changes in altitude or temperature. This stops a vacuum forming, so the lid opens easily and the waterproof seal is not put under strain.
How does the case stay sealed?
An integral gasket runs around the lid, and two lever clamps close firmly to hold the seal. This combination keeps the case watertight to its IP66 rating.
What material is the case made from?
The shell is moulded from high density ABS, chosen for its impact resistance. It handles knocks and rough treatment while keeping your gear protected.
How do you carry the case?
There is a folding, soft-grip handle that sits flush against the case when not in use, so it stores neatly and is comfortable to lift when you need it.
