Description

The Citronic CSP-408 is a compact powered mixer that combines a mixing desk and a stereo power amplifier in one unit. It has balanced mic/line inputs plus two stereo inputs, each with 3-band EQ and an aux send, so you can shape individual channels before they reach the main mix. A 7-band global graphic EQ (called a graphic equaliser in full) gives you overall tone control to suit the room.

The built-in stereo amplifier is rated at 400W and can drive two or four speakers, making it suitable for medium sized venues. The onboard 24-bit DSP section offers 16 program effects with tap tempo, useful for adding reverb and delay to vocals. Balanced main outputs let you send a clean signal to additional powered speakers or another amp when you need more coverage, and 48V phantom power supports condenser microphones on the XLR inputs.

Connections include 2 x RCA in and out for a 2-track source, a 6.3mm headphone jack (also written as a 1/4-inch jack in US terms) and L+R speaker (SPK) connectors. Frequency response runs from 20Hz to 30kHz and THD+N is below 0.01% from channel to main out. It runs from a 230Vac IEC mains supply. With its all-in-one layout, the CSP-408 works well for mobile PA, bars and special events where you want to keep the setup simple and the kit count low.
