Description

The Chord XU-BTX is a replacement bodypack transmitter for the Chord XU wireless UHF system. It slots straight into an existing XU setup, giving you a spare or additional transmitter without needing to replace the whole system. The unit is programmed from the XU receiver using infrared (I.R.) sync, so pairing is quick and you don't need to set frequencies by hand.

It works with neckband and lavalier mics (also called lapel or lav mics) that use a mini XLR connection, making it a good fit for presenters, worship settings, theatre and anyone who wants to move hands-free. The transmitter runs on 2 x AA batteries, which aren't supplied, and it operates across the 823-832MHz and 863-865MHz carrier frequency bands used by the XU range.

The bodypack measures 90 x 60 x 25mm and weighs 74g without a battery fitted, so it clips onto a belt or waistband and stays out of the way during use. Because it's designed as a direct replacement, it keeps the same programming method and connection as the rest of the XU system, so your microphones and receiver carry on working as before.
