Description

The Chord RACKBAG4U is a padded 19" rack bag that holds up to 4U of equipment. Inside it uses a sturdy wooden frame to give the bag its shape and to protect the gear you carry in it. Metal rack strip runs down the front and rear, so you can bolt your units in place at both ends and keep everything held firmly during transport.

Front and rear flaps give you access to your equipment and let air move through the bag for ventilation, which helps when your kit runs warm. Securing straps sit inside the flaps to hold things in place, and there is a zipped external pocket for leads, fixings and anything else you want to keep to hand. The rack mounting depth is 350mm, so check your units fit before you load up.

We fit the bag with a carrying handle and a shoulder strap, so you can move it about a venue or between jobs without much fuss. The padding takes the knocks that a bare rack case would pass straight to your gear, and the soft-sided design keeps the weight down. It suits mixers, amplifiers, effects units and other standard 19" rack equipment that you need to move regularly.
