Description

The Chord RACKBAG3US is a padded 19" rack bag built to hold 3U of equipment while you move it between venues, studios or storage. Inside there's a sturdy wooden frame that keeps the shape and takes the weight off your gear, along with metal rack strip at both the front and rear so kit is held securely on all four mounting points.

Front and rear flaps open for easy access and let air move through the bag, which helps when your equipment is running warm. Securing straps sit inside the flaps to keep things in place during transport, and the shallow 255mm depth suits compact units such as mixers, amplifiers and processors that don't need a full-depth case. At just over a quarter of a metre deep, it stays manageable to carry and store.

For getting around, the bag has a carrying handle and a shoulder strap, so you can move it by hand or over the shoulder depending on the load. A zipped external pocket gives you somewhere to keep cables, adaptors and paperwork close by. The whole thing is finished in black. If you want the protection of a rack case (US: rack enclosure) without the bulk and weight of a hard flight case, this padded bag is a practical option for a 3U setup.
