Description

This Chord 2U rack bag gives you a portable way to house and move 19" equipment. The core is a sturdy internal wooden frame, which keeps the shape rigid and protects your gear inside the padded outer shell. Metal rack strip runs along both the front and rear, so units can be bolted in securely at both ends rather than relying on the bag alone.

Access and airflow are handled by front and rear flaps, which open to let you reach connections and help ventilation while equipment is running. Inside the flaps you get securing straps to hold things in place during transport. The shallow 255mm depth suits smaller units such as wireless receivers, small mixers and effects, and the black finish keeps it discreet on stage or in the studio.

For carrying, the bag has a fitted handle and a shoulder strap, so you can move it by hand or over the shoulder between jobs. A zipped external pocket on the outside gives you somewhere to keep leads, adaptors or paperwork. As a rack case (also called a rack bag in the US), it offers a lighter, softer alternative to a hard flight case while still giving your equipment a solid frame and proper rack mounting front and rear.
