Description

The Chord CS3B is a boom cymbal stand built for players who want their cymbals positioned exactly where they need them. The boom arm is counter-balanced and gives you adjustable tilt, cymbal angle and reach, so you can set up crash and ride cymbals over the kit without the stand crowding your other hardware. A boom reach memory lock collar means you can return to your preferred setting quickly after packing down.

Construction is chrome plated steel throughout, with double-braced tripod legs that keep the stand stable even when you play hard. Height is set by a telescopic upper section, and the bushed wing nuts handle both height and tilt adjustment so nothing slips mid-session. The tripod base spreads to around 600mm, which gives a solid footprint on stage or in the studio.

With the boom fully extended the stand reaches a maximum height of 1800mm, and the boom arm itself measures 840mm. Packed dimensions are 950mm long with a 600mm diameter base, and the whole stand weighs 3.25kg, so it is manageable to carry and set up on your own. This is a straightforward piece of kit that does the job it is meant to, whether you are adding a cymbal to an existing setup or replacing a worn stand.
