Description

This Bluetooth receiver from AV:Link sits inside a standard 1-gang plastic wallplate, giving you a tidy way to stream audio from Bluetooth devices straight to your speakers. It connects to smartphones, tablets, iPods and similar kit over Bluetooth 5.0, with a range of up to 10m in clear line of sight. A pairing button on the front makes connecting quick, while status and power LEDs let you see at a glance what the unit is doing.

Audio gets to your speakers through the internal terminal block, so you can wire directly into the wall without extra boxes on show. If you need to connect a source that doesn't have Bluetooth, there's a 3.5mm AUX in socket (also called a 3.5mm jack in the UK, or a headphone-style connector). An extra internal 3.5mm AUX out socket and a 3-pin screw terminal give you flexible options for passing the signal on. Power comes from the included UK power supply, or you can wire it in using the internal 2-pin screw terminal.

The wallplate measures 87 x 87 x 35mm and weighs 48g, and it comes with a 50mm backbox so installation is straightforward. It runs on 5VDC/1A.
