The AV:Link ABS35BLK is a pair of active bookshelf speakers with a modern, minimal look that suits most rooms. Each speaker uses a 3.5" woofer and a 1" dome tweeter, giving you deep bass and clear treble across a frequency response of 40Hz to 20kHz. With 2 x 15W of output and an 8 Ohm impedance, they are a sensible fit for a bedroom, home office or a compact living space where you want tidy sound without a full hi-fi setup.

Bluetooth 5.0 lets you stream wirelessly from a phone, tablet or laptop, and you can also play MP3 files directly using the built-in USB and Micro SD (TF) ports. A 3.5mm AUX input handles a wired connection to your TV, PC or notebook (laptop). Controls sit on the side panel for mode changes and volume, and a full function remote control is included so you can adjust things from your seat. A CR2032 battery for the remote is supplied.

The pair works as a master and slave speaker, with the master weighing 1.4kg and the slave 1.2kg. Each unit measures 185 x 115 x 159mm, so they take up little shelf space. Mains power runs on 100 to 240V at 50/60Hz, and a C7 lead with a UK plug is included in the box. You can choose satin black (ABS35BLK) or satin white to match your room.
