Description

The Adastra BH5-W is a pair of weather resistant background speakers built for indoor or outdoor use. Each speaker carries an IP44 rating, so they cope with splashes and damp conditions when mounted under a soffit, in a covered patio or across a shop floor. The moulded cabinet houses an extended low frequency driver and a dome tweeter for 2-way, full-range sound, giving you clear music and speech across the covered area.

Connection is made through spring terminals fitted with a protective cover, which keeps the wiring tidy and shielded from moisture. The speakers run at 8 Ohms with a 120° dispersion angle, so a single pair spreads sound over a wide space without gaps. This suits background music and public address (PA) applications where you want even coverage rather than a loud focal point.

Every speaker comes with a pan and tilt wall mounting bracket. The bracket adjusts laterally and sets to various tilt positions, letting you aim each speaker where it is needed for the best directivity. Supplied in white as a matching pair, the BH5-W works well in cafes, bars, retail units, reception areas and garden spaces. Mount them at height, angle them toward the listening area and you have a straightforward background audio setup ready to wire into your amplifier.
