Description
The Adastra AH25 is an active horn speaker with a built-in amplifier, made for indoor or outdoor use. The body is moulded from high impact ABS and carries an IP66 weatherproof rating, so it keeps working reliably in exposed positions and difficult environments. With the amplifier circuit inside the unit, you don't need a separate power amp to drive it, which keeps the setup simple and cuts down on the kit you have to install.
Both the low voltage power and the line level audio run through a single 4-core cable. That means one cable feed rather than several, which makes routing and connection easier when you're wiring up a run of speakers. The AH25 should be powered from a filtered, noise-free 12Vdc supply capable of 2.1A or 25W. A power supply is not included, but we recommend the 660.451UK unit to match it. An angle-adjustable metal bracket comes fitted, so you can point the horn where you need it and mount it onto a wall or ceiling.
This speaker suits voice alerts in CCTV and security systems, or works as a self-contained add-on for an existing public address (PA) install. Output power is rated at a maximum of 25W. The AH25 measures 295 x 255 x 150mm and weighs 2.05kg. If you need a rugged, self-powered horn for announcements or warnings in an area that gets wet or dusty, this is a straightforward choice that keeps the wiring and hardware to a minimum.

Frequently Asked
Does the AH25 need a separate amplifier?
No. The amplifier circuit is built into the speaker, so you only need to supply power and a line level audio signal. There's no need for a separate power amp to drive it.
What power supply does it need?
It runs from a filtered, noise-free 12Vdc supply rated for 2.1A or 25W. A supply is not included, but we recommend the 660.451UK unit to match the speaker.
Can I use the AH25 outdoors?
Yes. The ABS body carries an IP66 weatherproof rating, so it's suitable for outdoor use as well as indoors and copes with wet and dusty conditions.
How is it wired?
Both the 12Vdc power and the line level audio are carried on a single 4-core cable. This gives you one cable feed to route rather than separate runs for power and signal.
What is the AH25 designed for?
It's built for voice alerts in CCTV and security systems, or as a self-contained add-on for an existing public address (PA) setup where you need clear announcements.
How is it mounted?
It comes with an angle-adjustable metal bracket, so you can fix it to a wall or ceiling and aim the horn where you need the sound to carry.
