Description

This Adastra package brings together everything you need for background music and announcements in spaces with low ceilings. It pairs a 90W UM-series 100V mixer-amp with 12 metal-framed 5.25" ceiling speakers, each rated at 6W. The system suits offices, retail outlets, workshops and cafés where a suspended false ceiling gives easy access for installation. Everything arrives ready to fit, with the amplifier, cable and speakers packed separately.

The UM-series amplifier has an inbuilt Bluetooth receiver, a USB MP3 player and an FM tuner, so you can play music from a range of sources. It also includes a 6.3mm jack microphone input and an RCA line input for connecting a phone, laptop or media player. The compact amp can be rack mounted in pairs, fixed to a wall or tucked under a worktop. An optional paging microphone (952.341UK) is available separately if you need to make announcements over the top of the music.

We supply 25 metres of black speaker cable with the package, and more is available separately (801.816UK) should you need extra runs. When extending the cable, use a terminal block and take care not to short the positive and negative together. The 100V line design means you can add more speakers to the amplifier using lower tappings, as long as the total speaker wattage stays below 90% of the amp's maximum output. This keeps the system flexible if your layout changes later.
