BC and SBC explained

These are bayonet cap bulbs, the push-and-twist fitting common across UK homes. BC is the standard B22 bayonet found in most pendants, lamps and ceiling fittings. SBC is the smaller B15 version used in some wall lights, appliances and compact fixtures. Both push in and turn a quarter turn to lock, so the bulb cannot work loose. Bulb shapes
