Description

The Knightsbridge BATS5UHL is a 1525mm (5ft) LED batten light with an integrated 83W LED module delivering 11200 lumens of 4000K cool white light. The pressed steel housing with white finish and opal polycarbonate diffuser provides even light distribution across a 155-degree beam angle, making it suitable for workshops, garages, commercial spaces and utility areas where high-output task lighting is required.

Designed as a direct replacement for conventional 5ft fluorescent tube fittings, the batten includes rear and end conduit fixing points and a hinged gear tray for straightforward installation. Push-fit loop-in loop-out terminals allow multiple battens to be daisy-chained without additional junction boxes, reducing installation time on runs of continuous lighting. The IP20 rating limits use to dry indoor environments away from direct water exposure.

The 154.88 lm/W efficacy places this fitting among the higher-efficiency commercial LED battens available, reducing running costs compared to older fluorescent equivalents while the 50,000-hour L70B50 rating (the point at which the LED output drops to 70% of initial lumens) supports long-term installation with minimal maintenance. The Class I earthed construction requires connection to a mains earth. The fitting is non-dimmable and operates on 230V 50Hz mains supply with a constant current driver.

Yes. The 1525mm length matches standard 5ft fluorescent fittings, and the rear and end conduit fixing points align with typical fluorescent batten mounting positions. The push-fit terminals simplify wiring connections during retrofit.
