Description

The AV:Link USB-C to RJ45 Gigabit Ethernet adaptor adds a wired network port to laptops, tablets and desktops with USB-C connectivity. The adaptor connects via a 120mm fixed cable with a USB 3.0 Type-C plug on one end and a full-sized RJ45 Ethernet socket on the other, supporting data transfer rates up to 1000Mbps on Gigabit-capable networks.

Designed for portable use with thin laptops and tablets that lack built-in Ethernet ports, the adaptor provides an alternative to WiFi when working in environments where wired connections are required or preferred for security, stability or bandwidth. The plug-and-play installation works without drivers on Windows, macOS and most Linux distributions, recognising the adaptor as a standard network interface once connected.

The adaptor body is machined from aluminium with a brushed grey finish, measuring 91mm long and weighing 28g including the attached cable. The compact size suits laptop bags and cable organisers without adding bulk.
