The Welles Glass Wall Light is an uplighter with a wide, half-bowl glass shade that throws light gently up and across the wall. The frosted glass carries a fine linear pattern that softens the glow, sitting on a neat stepped metal backplate. It is a simple, rounded shape that works as much for warm background lighting as for a clear reading spot beside a chair or bed.

The range comes in 3 colourways: Brushed Aged Brass, Antique Brass with White glass, and Satin Chrome with White glass. The brass tones bring a warmer, more classic feel to hallways and living rooms, while the satin chrome keeps things cooler and more contemporary for bedrooms and landings. At 30cm wide it fits well in pairs along a corridor or either side of a fireplace without crowding the wall.

The shade is glass and the fitting is steel, so it is sturdy and easy to live with. Wipe the metal with a soft dry cloth and clean the glass with a lightly damp cloth when needed, avoiding harsh cleaners that can mark the finish. Always turn the power off before changing a bulb.
