Description

The Wardour overmantel mirror brings a shaped, panelled front to the wall, with a softly scalloped top edge and slim charcoal frame that draws the eye without crowding the space. The design divides the glass into a large central pane flanked by narrow side sections and a lower border, giving it the look of an antique window while keeping the lines clean and current.

The frame is made from iron with an MDF backing, finished in a muted charcoal tone that suits both painted and papered walls. Its wider-than-tall proportions make it well matched to a fireplace, a console table or a sideboard, where the horizontal shape helps open out a room and bounce light back across it. At 1050mm wide it fills a mantel comfortably while the 865mm height keeps things in balance.

The mirrored panels are set behind the metalwork so the joins read as fine detail rather than heavy dividers. It works in a period sitting room, a hallway that needs a little more brightness, or a bedroom above a chest of drawers. Fix it securely to the wall using suitable fixings for your wall type, and keep the surface clean with a soft dry cloth.
