Basic Texture Marble LED Wall Light 50mm - White

The Basic Texture is a circular wall sconce cut from natural white marble with grey mineral veining, housing an integrated 5W 3000K LED that emits 300 lumens through the 180° front-facing aperture. The stone itself acts as the structure and mounting plate, with the LED module recessed into the back of the disc and the cable exit concealed behind the wall plate.

Designed for hallways, bedrooms and bathrooms needing soft decorative accent lighting rather than task brightness, the wall light provides ambient wash light across wall surfaces without glare. The 180° beam angle directs all light forward and to the sides, leaving the area directly behind the fitting unlit. The circular form and natural stone texture suit contemporary, Scandinavian and spa-style interiors where natural materials and minimal forms are preferred.

Each marble disc shows different veining patterns and tonal variation depending on the section of stone it was cut from, so no two fittings look identical. The white marble ranges from pure white through to light grey with darker grey mineral streaks running through the stone. The integrated LED is dimmable when paired with a compatible trailing-edge or leading-edge dimmer (dimmer not included), allowing output to be reduced from full brightness down to a low-level night light. The IP20 rating restricts use to dry indoor locations only.

Is it bright enough for a hallway?

At 300 lumens, this provides soft accent lighting rather than primary illumination. It works well as one of several lights in a hallway or as a decorative accent in a bedroom or bathroom. For a 2.5m-wide hallway used as the main circulation route, pair with additional overhead lighting or use multiple wall lights spaced along the length.

Can it be used in a bathroom?

The IP20 rating restricts it to dry indoor locations only. It cannot be installed within bathroom zones 0, 1 or 2 where water spray or steam contact is likely. It may be used in a bathroom if positioned well away from baths, showers and basins in zone 3 or beyond, where there is no direct water contact.

Does the marble vary between pieces?

Yes. Each disc is cut from natural marble, so the veining, tonal variation and mineral inclusions differ between individual pieces. Some discs may appear almost pure white, while others show more prominent grey streaks. This is a characteristic of the natural material.

What dimmer type is needed?

The integrated LED is dimmable and typically works with both trailing-edge and leading-edge dimmers. For best results, use a trailing-edge dimmer rated for LED loads. Dimmer compatibility may vary by manufacturer, so test with your chosen dimmer before completing multiple installations.
