Description

The Maris alabaster wall sconce pairs a curved natural alabaster shade with a rounded gold-tone metal backplate, housing a single G9 bulb fitting behind the stone (bulb sold separately, maximum 5W). The alabaster diffuser is carved with a rippled surface that catches light across multiple facets, creating variation in brightness and shadow as the stone glows.

Designed for hallways, living room accent walls and bedroom lighting where ambient warmth is preferred over bright task light, the fitting mounts directly to a standard UK wall box and projects approximately 100mm from the wall surface. The IP20 rating confines use to dry indoor locations away from bathrooms and outdoor exposure. The single G9 fitting accepts LED capsule bulbs in warm white (2700K-3000K) or daylight temperatures depending on room use.

The alabaster shade shows natural mineral veining and tonal shifts from pale cream through amber to soft grey-brown at the edges, a characteristic of natural stone that varies between individual pieces. What bulb does it take?

The fitting takes a single G9 capsule bulb up to 5W maximum. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with a 3-5W warm white LED G9 bulb at 2700K or 3000K for ambient glow through the alabaster.
