Description

The Olo is a 6W LED wall light with a brass finish and a concentric ring diffuser that channels light forward in a controlled 120° beam. The integrated LED produces 380-438 lumens depending on colour temperature selection (2700K, 3000K or 4000K) and is rated at 80 CRI, which renders colours accurately enough for residential spaces.

Designed for hallways, bedrooms beside headboards, and living spaces where accent or task light is needed close to the wall, the sconce mounts flush against the surface with all wiring concealed behind the backplate. The 120° beam angle directs light forward rather than spilling widely up and down the wall, making it suitable for focused reading positions or corridor lighting where glare control matters. The IP20 rating restricts use to interior dry locations only.

The brass finish shows as a warm golden tone with slight variation depending on ambient light, and the concentric rings on the front face create a layered visual effect when the LED is off. The non-dimmable driver operates on standard UK 220-240V 50Hz mains and the entire fitting weighs approximately 0.5kg, allowing it to be mounted on plasterboard with appropriate fixings. The metal construction gives durability in high-traffic areas where wall lights might be knocked.

Is this wall light dimmable?

No. The integrated LED driver is not compatible with dimmer switches and must be wired directly to a standard switched mains circuit.

What colour temperature should I choose?

2700K provides warm white light similar to traditional incandescent bulbs and suits bedrooms and living areas. 3000K is neutral warm white for hallways and kitchens. 4000K is cool white with a slight blue cast, typically used in bathrooms and utility spaces where task visibility is the priority.

Can it be used in a bathroom?

No. The IP20 rating means the fitting has no protection against moisture ingress and must be installed in dry interior locations only, away from direct water spray or high humidity zones.

How is the wall light installed?

The backplate mounts to the wall with screws (fixings supplied), concealing the mains cable run behind the fitting. A qualified electrician should carry out installation to UK wiring regulations.
