Description

The Regatta is a circular wall sconce with an integrated 5W LED behind a hammered brass disc that projects light outward in a 120-degree beam. The brass surface shows a hand-textured pattern that catches and reflects light irregularly, creating tonal variation across the face of the fitting when lit. A narrow brass backplate fixes directly to the wall with the disc projecting forward by approximately 30mm.

Designed for hallways, landings, bedrooms and living spaces where ambient wall wash is needed rather than direct downlight, the fitting casts 650 lumens at 3000K colour temperature across the wall surface. The 120-degree beam angle means light spreads wide rather than concentrating in a tight spot, providing background illumination without harsh shadows. The IP20 rating limits the fitting to dry indoor locations only.

The hammered brass finish varies across the surface depending on angle and light source, appearing as alternating bands of bright and matte gold under the internal LED. The 5W output draws minimal power while providing ambient light comparable to a 40W incandescent bulb. The LED is non-dimmable and integrated into the fitting, rated at 80 CRI for reasonable colour rendering in residential settings.

Is this dimmable?

No. The integrated LED is non-dimmable and will not function correctly with dimmer switches.

Can it be used in bathrooms?

No. The IP20 rating means the fitting is not protected against moisture ingress and must only be installed in dry indoor locations away from direct water contact.

What size room does it suit?

At 650 lumens the fitting provides ambient wall wash for spaces up to approximately 10-12 square metres. For larger rooms or primary lighting, multiple fittings would be needed or supplementary ceiling lighting.
