Description

The Flat is a horizontal LED wall sconce with an integrated 6W LED strip housed inside a black metal frame. The light outputs 730 lumens at 3000K warm white through a frosted diffuser that runs the length of the fitting, providing even linear illumination along a wall or corridor.

Designed for hallways, bedroom walls and living room accent lighting, the Flat mounts flush to the wall via a backplate and directs light both upward and downward to create a wash effect on the wall surface. The 120-degree beam angle spreads the 730 lumens across approximately 2-3 metres of wall at typical mounting heights of 1.5-2m. The IP20 rating limits use to dry indoor locations only.

The black powder-coated metal finish provides a neutral frame that works across both contemporary and minimalist interiors. The integrated LED is non-dimmable and runs on standard 230V mains supply without requiring external drivers or transformers. The CRI of 80 reproduces colours adequately for general ambient and accent lighting tasks, though not to the standard required for colour-critical work.

Is this dimmable?

No. The integrated LED is not compatible with dimmer switches and runs at full 730 lumens output when switched on.

What colour is the light?

The LED outputs 3000K warm white light, which sits in the warm end of the white spectrum and pairs well with traditional and contemporary warm-toned interiors.

Can this be used in bathrooms?

No. The IP20 rating means the fitting is only suitable for dry indoor locations. Bathrooms require IP44 or higher for zones 1 and 2.

How is it mounted?

The Flat mounts horizontally on a wall via a backplate fixed to the wall surface. Standard fixing screws and rawl plugs are required for installation on plasterboard or masonry walls.
