Description

The Flat is a 10W LED wall sconce built around a horizontal linear form housed in a black metal body. The integrated LED produces 1150 lumens at 3000K warm white through a 120° beam angle, casting light both upwards and downwards along the wall surface to create ambient wash lighting and definition.

Designed for hallways, staircases, bedroom headboards and bathroom mirrors (IP20 rated, so zones 0-2 require separate protection), the horizontal orientation works on walls where vertical space is limited or where multiple fittings are needed at regular intervals. The black metal finish provides a neutral backdrop that recedes into dark-painted walls or provides contrast against lighter finishes.

The metal housing dissipates heat from the 10W LED without requiring external ventilation, keeping the fitting compact at approximately 300mm length. The non-dimmable driver runs on standard 220-240V AC mains supply and the 80 CRI rating renders domestic colour tones accurately without the over-warm or over-cool cast associated with lower-CRI fittings. Mounting is via concealed fixings accessed from the rear of the housing.

Is this dimmable?

No. The integrated LED driver is non-dimmable and must be wired directly to a standard switch or unswitched mains supply.

Can it be used in bathrooms?

The IP20 rating means it is not protected against moisture ingress, so it must be installed outside bathroom zones 0, 1 and 2. It can be used in the general bathroom area (zone 3) where no direct water contact occurs.

What colour temperature is the light?

The LED is rated at 3000K, which is warm white. This sits between the very warm 2700K often used in living rooms and the neutral 4000K used in task-oriented spaces, making it suitable for general domestic lighting.

How is it mounted?

The fitting mounts via concealed fixings accessed from the rear of the housing. Standard wall plugs and screws are used to fix the backplate to the wall, then the mains cable is connected to the terminal block inside before the cover is clipped back into place.
