Description

The Basic Texture is a 5W integrated LED wall sconce housed in a black metal circular fitting, delivering between 314-345 lumens depending on the colour temperature selected. The 180° beam angle spreads light across a wide horizontal plane, making it useful for corridor lighting, accent walls, and supplementary illumination in hallways and stairwells.

Designed for interior residential and commercial spaces, the fitting mounts directly to a wall with a circular backplate and projects the LED light forward and to the sides in a broad wash. The IP20 rating limits installation to dry indoor environments where the fitting is protected from moisture and direct water contact. The non-dimmable driver means the light operates at full output when switched on.

The black metal finish is powder-coated to reduce surface reflections and pairs cleanly with monochrome, industrial and contemporary interiors. The circular profile measures approximately 100mm in diameter and projects 30-40mm from the wall depending on the mounting method. The integrated LED cannot be replaced, but the fitting carries a lifespan rating of approximately 25,000 hours at typical domestic use patterns.

What colour temperature options are available?

The Basic Texture is available in three colour temperatures: 2700K (warm white, 314 lumens), 3000K (soft white, 345 lumens), or 4000K (cool white, 336 lumens). Please select your preferred colour temperature when ordering.

Can it be used in bathrooms?

No. The IP20 rating means the fitting is suitable only for dry indoor environments. Bathrooms require a minimum IP44 rating for zones near water sources.

Is the LED replaceable?

No. The LED is integrated into the fitting and cannot be replaced. The LED has a rated lifespan of approximately 25,000 hours, equivalent to over 10 years of typical residential use at 6 hours per day.

What is the beam angle used for?

The 180° beam angle produces a wide horizontal spread of light, making the fitting useful for corridor lighting, accent walls, and supplementary illumination where a broad wash is needed rather than a focused beam.
