Description

The Verina hangs twelve glass drops from a single round chrome ceiling plate, each suspended on adjustable braided cables set at staggered heights to form a spiral cascade. Every drop pairs a clear cylindrical glass shade with a faceted crystal insert, so light passes through both layers and picks up the cut edges within. It is a piece built to fill a stairwell or a double-height space where the full drop can be seen from more than one level.

The chrome finish across the plate and cable fittings keeps the metalwork bright and reflective, working with the clear glass rather than competing with it. Hung over a stairwell the staggered cables give movement as you climb, while in a tall living room or dining room the cluster reads as one connected form. Each cable can be shortened at fitting, so the overall drop is set to suit your ceiling height up to the full 3000mm.

With twelve individual lamps the Verina throws a generous, warm spread of light and holds its own as the main fitting in a large room. The faceted crystal within each shade scatters small points of light onto surrounding walls, giving the piece more depth than a plain glass pendant.
