Description

The Flarity Track System Ceiling Pendant is a brass-finish aluminium adaptor that converts a ceiling-mounted track lighting system into a suspended fitting with an adjustable drop. The component comprises a track connector head, a vertical stem and a pendant holder at the base, allowing a compatible track spotlight or fitting to hang below the track rather than sit flush with it.

Designed for retail, gallery and residential track lighting installations where a suspended fitting is needed over a counter, display or work surface, the pendant adaptor clips into standard track rails and accepts any compatible track head. The drop length is adjustable by loosening a grub screw on the stem, allowing the fitting to be positioned at the required height above the surface below.

The brass finish on the aluminium body provides a warm metallic accent that pairs with brass track heads and brass track rails to create a cohesive suspended track lighting scheme. The component weighs approximately 150g and requires no wiring - the electrical connection is made through the track connector head at the top of the stem. The pendant holder at the base accepts standard track head fittings via a mechanical clip connection.

Does this component include a light source?

No. This is a track system adaptor that allows a track spotlight to be suspended below the track rail. The light source comes from the separate track head that clips into the pendant holder at the base of this component.

What track systems is it compatible with?

The pendant adaptor is designed for track lighting systems. Compatibility with other manufacturers' track rails depends on the track profile and connector design - contact us to confirm before ordering if you are using a non- track system.

How is the drop length adjusted?

The vertical stem has a grub screw that can be loosened to adjust the drop length. Once the required height is set, the grub screw is tightened to lock the stem in position. The maximum and minimum drop lengths depend on the stem length supplied with this model - see the Specification tab for exact dimensions.

Can multiple pendants be used on one track?

Yes. Multiple pendant adaptors can be installed on the same track rail, spaced according to the lighting design and the load capacity of the track system. Each pendant adaptor draws its power from the track rail, so the total wattage of all track heads must remain within the track system's rated capacity.
