Description

This track system suspension kit provides the ceiling-mount components needed to install a track lighting rail as a drop-down pendant system. The kit includes a matt black aluminium ceiling rose, an adjustable suspension cable and the connector piece that slots into the track rail. The cable allows the track to be suspended 500-1500mm below the ceiling, converting a standard fixed-mount track into a hanging installation.

Designed for installation above kitchen islands, dining tables and open-plan living zones where the track needs to sit lower than the ceiling itself, the suspension kit provides a cleaner alternative to flush-mounting track on sloped or high ceilings. The adjustable cable length means the track height can be set during installation to suit the room's ceiling height and the intended use - typically 600-800mm above a worktop or 700-900mm above a dining table.

The matt black aluminium finish matches 's standard track system components, giving a consistent appearance when the suspension kit is paired with the track rail, adaptors and spotlight fittings from the same range. The ceiling rose diameter is approximately 100mm and mounts to standard UK ceiling joists or ceiling roses. The connector piece at the lower end of the cable clips securely into the track rail and provides a live electrical connection, so the suspended track carries power from the ceiling without visible external wiring.
