Description

The Flarity track system ceiling rose is a black aluminium mounting point that allows a track rail to be surface-mounted to a standard UK ceiling. The rose accepts mains cable entry from above (through the ceiling void) and provides a secure electrical connection point where the track rail begins or terminates. The cylindrical rose measures approximately 100mm in diameter and 30mm in height, giving a low-profile mounting that sits flush against most ceiling surfaces.

Designed for use in residential, commercial and retail installations where track lighting is needed without recessed mounting, the ceiling rose is compatible with 's aluminium track rail system. The rose fits standard UK ceiling junction boxes and can be positioned at the start of a track run, at the end, or at intermediate points where additional cable feeds are required. The black finish matches 's black track rails and spotlights, creating an unified appearance across the installation.

The aluminium body is finished in a matt black powder coat that resists fingerprints and pairs cleanly with black, grey and industrial-style ceilings. The rose includes internal terminals for live, neutral and earth connections, and a cable grip to secure the incoming mains cable. Installation requires a qualified electrician to connect the mains supply and mechanically fix the rose to the ceiling substrate using appropriate fixings for the ceiling type (plasterboard, concrete, timber).

Is this compatible with other track systems?

The ceiling rose is designed specifically for 's track rail system. While the physical dimensions may match other manufacturers' rails, electrical compatibility and mechanical fit are not guaranteed outside the range.

Can it be surface-mounted on plasterboard ceilings?

Yes, provided suitable fixings are used. Plasterboard ceilings require toggle fixings, cavity anchors or fixing into a joist behind the plasterboard to carry the combined weight of the rose, track rail and any attached spotlights. A qualified electrician will select appropriate fixings during installation.

Does the rose include mounting screws?

The rose typically includes screws suitable for mounting to a standard ceiling junction box or solid substrate. For plasterboard or other ceiling types, additional fixings may be required and should be selected by the installer based on the specific ceiling construction.

Can multiple ceiling roses be used on one track run?

Yes. Long track runs or complex layouts often use multiple ceiling roses to provide additional cable feeds or mechanical support points along the rail. Each rose requires a separate mains connection.
