Description

The Flarity rod suspension is a black aluminium extension component for track lighting systems, designed to drop a track rail or individual spotlight lower from the ceiling. The rod connects via a cylindrical ceiling mount at the top and terminates in a track adapter socket at the base, allowing a standard track head to be mounted at a variable drop height.

Used primarily in commercial settings, retail displays and gallery installations where ceiling-mounted track needs to be brought closer to the subject being lit, the rod suspension also suits residential applications with high ceilings where overhead track alone would leave light positioned too far from the work surface or feature. The rod can be cut to length during installation, offering flexibility across different ceiling heights and lighting requirements.

The black aluminium finish matches 's standard track rail and spotlight housings, maintaining a consistent visual line across the track system. The cylindrical ceiling mount sits flush to plasterboard or suspended ceilings and conceals the electrical connection point. The adapter socket at the base accepts any track head with a compatible fitting, allowing spotlights to be rotated and angled once mounted on the rod.
