Description

The Tenity recessed track profile is a 2m black aluminium extrusion designed to sit flush within a ceiling void, with only the track aperture visible from below. The profile includes concealed mounting flanges on both sides that fix to the ceiling joists or noggins, and the track channel accepts low-voltage track heads and spotlights that clip directly into the rail without requiring surface-mounted brackets.

Designed for commercial retail, gallery, and residential applications where surface-mounted track would disrupt the ceiling plane, the recessed profile allows lighting to be repositioned along the 2m run without re-wiring. The black aluminium finish blends into dark ceilings or provides a defined contrast line in white plasterboard. The profile requires a minimum ceiling void depth of 60mm to accommodate the extrusion height plus the electrical cable run and transformer placement.

The ribbed outer surfaces visible in the profile cross-section provide structural rigidity to prevent sagging across a 2m span when multiple track heads are fitted. The channel width accepts standard low-voltage two-wire track connectors, and multiple profiles can be joined end-to-end with straight or L-shaped track connectors to create longer or angled runs. Track heads, spotlights and connectors are sold separately and must match the track system specification.
