Description

The Plato is a 10W LED track light with a circular brass-finished aluminium housing and an integrated 2700K warm white LED. The unit delivers 400 lumens across a 120° beam angle, making it suitable for general accent lighting rather than tight spotlighting. The circular diffuser sits flush with the brass rim, providing even light distribution without visible glare from the LED array.

Designed for commercial interiors, retail displays, galleries and residential track systems using 24V DC circuits, the Plato mounts onto compatible track rails via a twist-lock or clip-in adaptor depending on the rail manufacturer. The compact 153mm diameter and low-profile housing suit installations where ceiling clearance is limited or where the fitting needs to blend into the ceiling plane rather than project downward. The 90 CRI rating renders colours accurately under the warm 2700K output.

The brass finish is a satin-tone metal coating on an aluminium body, providing a warm metallic accent that pairs with brass fixtures, warm timber joinery and mid-century interiors. The IP20 rating limits the fitting to dry interior environments only. The integrated LED is non-dimmable and operates on 24V DC power, so it requires a compatible track system with the correct voltage and cannot be retrofitted onto standard mains-voltage rails without a separate power supply.

What track system does this fit?

The Plato operates on 24V DC track systems. It will not work on standard 240V mains-voltage track rails. Check that your existing track rail is rated for 24V DC before ordering, or purchase a compatible 24V track system separately.

Is this dimmable?

No. The integrated LED is non-dimmable and will not respond to dimmer switches or controls on the track circuit.

What colour temperature is the light?

The LED produces 2700K warm white light, which is the same colour temperature as a traditional 40W incandescent bulb. This is warmer and more yellow-toned than daylight (5000K-6500K).

Can this be used in bathrooms?

No. The IP20 rating means the fitting has no moisture protection and is suitable for dry interior spaces only. It should not be installed in bathrooms, kitchens near steam sources, or any damp environment.
