Description
The Plato is a 7W LED track light housed in a circular brushed brass aluminium body with an integrated 250-lumen LED module emitting 2700K warm white light through a 120° beam angle. The fitting runs on 24V DC track systems rather than mains voltage, requiring a compatible low-voltage track rail and transformer setup.
Designed for accent lighting in retail displays, gallery walls, kitchen worktops and home feature areas where multiple adjustable spotlights are needed on a single circuit, the Plato clips onto standard three-circuit 24V track rails and can be repositioned along the track without tools. The 120° beam provides wider coverage than typical spotlights, making it suitable for washing light across wall art, shelving or display units rather than creating tight pools of light.
The brushed brass finish on the aluminium body provides a warm metallic accent that pairs with traditional, transitional and warm-toned contemporary interiors. The circular 150mm-diameter head contains the LED module behind a frosted diffuser, softening the light output and reducing glare compared to exposed LED arrays. The fitting carries an IP20 rating, restricting it to dry indoor locations away from moisture.
The non-dimmable LED is rated at 90 CRI (colour rendering index), reproducing colours more accurately than standard 80 CRI LEDs and making it suitable for spaces where colour accuracy matters, such as clothing displays, artwork and food presentation areas.

Frequently Asked
Does this run on standard mains track?
No. The Plato requires a 24V DC track system, not standard 230V mains track. You will need a compatible 24V track rail and transformer setup, which are sold separately.
Is it dimmable?
No. The integrated LED is not compatible with dimmer controls. The light output is fixed at 250 lumens.
What is the beam angle suited for?
The 120° beam angle provides wide wash coverage rather than focused spotlighting. This makes it suitable for lighting shelving, display walls and worktops where broader, more even coverage is needed.
Can it be used in bathrooms?
No. The IP20 rating restricts the fitting to dry indoor locations only. It is not suitable for bathrooms, kitchens near sinks, or any area where moisture or water spray is present.
