Description

The Plato is a 10W integrated LED track light housed in a black aluminium disc, approximately 150mm in diameter and 40mm deep. The light attaches to 3-circuit track rail systems via a central cylindrical mount and delivers 500 lumens at a warm 3000K colour temperature through a frosted polycarbonate diffuser that covers the entire underside of the disc. The 120° beam angle provides broad, even illumination rather than a focused spot.

Designed for retail display, gallery walls, kitchen task lighting over worktops, and commercial spaces requiring adjustable directional light, the track mount allows the fitting to be repositioned along the rail without re-wiring. The low-profile disc sits close to the ceiling and projects downward rather than sideways, making it suitable for standard 2.4m ceiling heights where pendant fittings would hang too low. The black aluminium finish pairs with both industrial and contemporary interiors.

The integrated LED is rated at 10W and draws power from a 24V DC track rail system, which requires a separate mains-to-24V driver installed elsewhere in the circuit. The 90 CRI rating reproduces colours accurately under the light, which matters for retail display and art gallery use where colour fidelity is critical. The fitting carries an IP20 rating, limiting use to dry indoor environments. The LED is not dimmable and is integrated rather than replaceable, so the entire fitting is replaced at end-of-life.

What track system does this fit?

The Plato is designed for 3-circuit track rail systems operating at 24V DC. It will not fit standard 230V mains track systems or single-circuit rails. Check that your existing track rail is 3-circuit 24V before ordering.

Is the LED replaceable?

No. The 10W LED is integrated into the fitting and cannot be removed or replaced. At end-of-life the entire track light is replaced rather than just the lamp.

Can it be dimmed?

No. The integrated LED does not support dimming. If dimming is required, consider an alternative track light model with dimmer compatibility.

What does the 90 CRI rating mean?

CRI (Colour Rendering Index) measures how accurately colours appear under the light compared to natural daylight. A 90 CRI rating means colours are reproduced with high fidelity, which is important for retail display, art galleries and food presentation where colour accuracy matters.
