Can the light be dimmed?

No. The integrated 3W LED is not dimmable. Dimming would require a dimmable 24V DC track system and a compatible dimmer on the transformer side.

What does 40 lumens provide?

40 lumens is accent lighting, not task lighting. A single fitting highlights a small artwork, a shelf section or an architectural detail. For general room lighting or worktop illumination, multiple fittings spaced along the track are needed to build adequate brightness.

What is the smoke glass effect?
