Description
The Rado track light is an 18W LED spotlight with a circular head that mounts onto 48V AC track systems. The integrated LED supports adjustable colour temperature from 2700K warm white to 6000K cool white, controlled via compatible track control systems or wall dimmers. The 120° beam angle provides wide flood coverage for retail display, gallery walls, or residential accent lighting where focused beams would create harsh shadows.
Designed for 48V AC low-voltage track systems rather than mains voltage track, this fitting requires a compatible track rail with step-down transformer (sold separately). The low-voltage configuration reduces electrical risk in commercial environments and allows longer track runs without voltage drop concerns. The circular head rotates and tilts within its gimbal mount, allowing light to be directed onto merchandise, artwork, or architectural features from multiple angles along the track.
The black aluminium body provides a neutral backdrop that recedes visually in darker ceilings and pairs with black, white or silver track rails. At 90 CRI, the LED renders colours accurately enough for retail fashion, food service and residential applications where colour fidelity matters. The IP20 rating limits the fitting to dry indoor environments - unsuitable for bathrooms, outdoor canopies or kitchens with open steam sources.
The dimmable LED works with trailing-edge and leading-edge dimmers when paired with a compatible 48V dimming transformer on the track system. Dimming range and smoothness depend on the specific transformer and dimmer combination used - consult your installer for compatibility before specifying dimming controls.

Frequently Asked
What track system does it fit?
This fitting mounts onto 48V AC low-voltage track rails. It is not compatible with mains voltage 230V track systems or standard ceiling roses. The track rail and step-down transformer are sold separately.
How is the colour temperature adjusted?
Colour temperature adjustment from 2700K to 6000K requires a compatible track control system or wall controller that supports tunable white LEDs. The fitting cannot be adjusted manually without the appropriate control interface.
Is it dimmable on all systems?
The LED is dimmable, but dimming performance depends on the 48V transformer and dimmer used in the track system. Confirm compatibility with your installer before specifying dimming controls.
What is the beam angle suited for?
The 120° beam angle provides wide flood coverage rather than a focused spotlight effect. This suits general retail display lighting, gallery wall washing, and residential accent lighting where softer coverage is needed across a wider area.
