Description

The Calipso is a single-head track spotlight with a ribbed brass cylinder housing and a black track mount adaptor. The spotlight accepts a GU10 bulb up to 10W (sold separately) and tilts on the track adaptor joint, allowing light to be directed at walls, display areas or merchandise. The brass cylinder measures approximately 100mm in length with vertical ribbing on the outer surface that adds visual interest when installed in groups.

Designed for single-circuit track systems in retail, gallery, hospitality and residential settings, the spotlight mounts onto standard 1-circuit track rails via the black adaptor visible in the mounting plate. Once clipped onto the track, the spotlight can be repositioned along the rail length without re-wiring, and the head tilts to adjust beam direction. The brass finish contrasts with the black mounting hardware, working well on both white and black track rails depending on the desired accent.

The aluminium construction keeps the weight manageable for track installation while the ribbed brass finish diffuses reflections from the polished metal surface. The GU10 fitting accepts any standard mains-voltage LED spotlight bulb, giving flexibility to choose beam angle (narrow spot, wide flood) and colour temperature (warm white, cool white, daylight) based on the application. The IP20 rating limits use to dry indoor environments only.

The spotlight takes a GU10 bulb up to 10W, sold separately. Most users pair this with a 5-7W LED GU10 in either 3000K warm white for accent lighting or 4000K neutral white for retail display.

Is it compatible with standard track systems?

Yes, the black adaptor fits standard single-circuit (1-circuit) track rails. It clips onto the rail and can be repositioned along the track length without re-wiring. It is not compatible with 3-circuit track systems.

Can the spotlight head be adjusted?

Yes, the brass cylinder tilts on the track adaptor joint, allowing the beam direction to be adjusted after installation. The joint holds position once set but can be readjusted as needed.

Can it be used in bathrooms?

No. The IP20 rating means the spotlight is designed for dry indoor environments only and offers no protection against moisture or water spray.
